Visas

Since 2012, Kyrgyzstan has introduced a visa-free regime of entry for a period of up to 60 days for citizens of 44 countries.

These countries include Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, UK, Sweden and Hungary.

Romanian citizens wishing to travel to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, need a visa to enter in this country. They can ask for a visa at the Consular Section of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Bucharest.

Roads

The roads are relatively good. The government has invested heavily in rebuilding the core roads network. The main highway from Bishkek to Osh is an excellent way to go through a mountainous region. Also, many other highways are being rehabilitated.
